Terry Wade Mangum

Terry Wade Mangum, age 74, passed away at his residence on May 17, 2023. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at the residence of Vickie Lane 7119 Pamplico Hwy, Pamplico, SC 29583. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:00am in the Florence National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to view Mr. Mangum can do so between 2:00pm and 4:00pm Saturday.

Terry was born in Darlington County on July 24, 1948, to the late Wade Mangum and Katie Lou Horton Mangum. Terry was a truck driver for Merita Bakery and Thurston Motor lines for many years until his retirement. Terry served the United States of America in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his two sisters; Shirley Ramsey of Pamplico and Vickie (Ronnie) Lane of Pamplico, brother; Bobby (Carolyn) Mangum of Florence, many nieces and nephews and a special niece, Kim Locklair. Terry is also survived by his K9 companion, Jenny.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his brother; Hobson Mangum.
