Susan Humphries Iseman

Susan Humphries Iseman, age 66 died Thursday, March 31, 2022. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3rd at Freedom Baptist Church, 1416 Lamar Hwy. Darlington, SC, 29532 with burial following at Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-3 Sunday at the church, and other times at the home of Lance and Jessica Iseman, 704 Jordan Ave. Lamar.

Born on March 21, 1956, Susan was the daughter of the late Fred Humphries and Kathleen Webb Humphries. She worked in Human Resources with Wilson Group and later for McLeod Hospital. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Johnnie to Romania to do missionary work. Susan enjoyed singing in groups with her husband; she loved people and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Darlington.

Surviving are her husband, Johnnie Iseman; two sons, Lance (Jessica) Iseman of Lamar and Chase (Greta) Iseman of Camden; five grandchildren, Dayton, Jason, Mandy, Laken and Riley; brother, Henry (Ann) Humphries of Darlington; and a special friend, Iris Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara, Betty and Sally.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, 22 Mockingbird Rd. Bishopville, SC 29010.
