Sally Frances Tucker

Sarah Frances “Sally” Tucker, age 63, passed away at her residence on April 30, 2023. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 8th from 1:00pm until 2:00pm in Welsh Neck Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 2:00pm in the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Sally was born on October 10, 1959 in Marlboro County to the late James Hewitt Tucker and Mary Agnes “Aggie” Blackmon Tucker. She worked in management for Circle K convenient stores in Arizona for many years up until her retirement. Sally had a “green thumb” and enjoyed tending to her plants, listening to music, and always enjoyed meeting and talking to people. She loved spending time with her family and friends that she loved dearly.

Sally is survived by her daughter; Sarah Ellen (George) Kelley, grandson; Harmon Kelley, and siblings: Ellen Tucker (Walter) Berry, Mary Lee Tucker Stegen, Henry Tucker, and Roxana Tucker. Also she is survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family members, special friends: Fran Lear, Eddie “Killer” Melton, Scott Dixon, and a host of many other friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie and Jimmy Tucker.
