Obituary
Russell Salvatore Nicrone, 74, of Darlington, South Carolina, passed away Monday morning, July 31, 2023, peacefully with his beloved wife of 52yrs, Joan, by his side.
Born in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Russell Joseph and Alphida Ahearn Nicrone.
He is survived by his beloved wife Joan S. Nicrone; children: Jennifer Nicrone of Harrisburg, PA; John Nicrone of Camp Hill, PA; and Matthew Nicrone of Florence, SC; sisters Rae Kramer of Darlington, SC and Joanne Quigley of Palm Coast, FL; and six grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Moravian College, in Bethlehem, PA, in 1971 as an English Major.
Russ had a successful 30-year career in sales, mostly with Ryder Transportation in PA, before retiring to Darlington, SC in 2007. He was a member and Elder of Darlington Presbyterian Church.
He was an accomplished guitar and bass player. Music was one of his true passions, along with his family and church.
