Patricia Ann Hill

Patricia Ann Hill, age 79 passed away Friday, May 14, 2021. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home with burial following at Magnolia Cemetery in Darlington. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.

Born on October 17, 1941, Ann was the daughter of the late Douglas Lee Cooper and Mittie McAlister. She was employed with Dixie Cup, and then was a housewife for many years. Ann loved gardening, taking care of her flowers and plants, and most importantly, she loved Jesus and was a member of Darlington Church of God of Prophecy. 

Surviving are her son, Gene Hill; daughter, Barbara Weatherford, both of Darlington; grandchildren, Jessica Smothers, Donnie Hill, Brian Hill, Jason Hill, Justin Hill, and Jim Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Nicole and Amber Smothers, Charlie and Dylan Hill; brothers, E.J. Cooper of Darlington and Jr. Cooper of Lugoff.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hill; her sons, Danny Hill, Donnie Hill; an infant son who was Gene’s twin; and her grandson, Edward Hill.
