Minnie Hatcher Obituary

Minnie Outlaw Hatcher, age 74, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5th at Darlington Memory Gardens. Those who wish to pay their respects to Minnie may do so Thursday between 2-5 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home.

Born on March 28, 1946, Minnie was the daughter of the late Edwin Outlaw and Eva Mae Hatcher Outlaw. She worked as an associate at Circuit City, and she loved to cook and being in her garden. Minnie was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Gay Rae Hatcher of Florence, SC, Tina (Dwight) Hatcher Alborg of San Antonio, TX, Terry Hatcher of Seattle, WA, and Tami (Kevin) Hatcher Strait of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Celeste Windham, Christopher Windham, Katlyn Farmer, Samuel Strait, Landon Moser, Kayla Strait; great-grandson, Aidan Reed. Also surviving are her sister, Ernestine Barnes of Ocean Isle, NC, James E. Outlaw of Lawrenceville, GA; and her brother, Larry Outlaw of Oxford, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” Marion Hatcher, who died in 2020; and her siblings, Lois and Junior.

Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 301 Rainbow Dr. Florence, SC 29501.
