Mary Louise "Luker" (Kelly) Culpeper

Mrs. Mary Louise “Luker” Kelly Culpeper, (82) of Columbia, SC, has gone home to be with the Lord. Mrs. Culpeper was born in Pond Hollow, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Perino and Polly Kelly. She was pre-deceased by her husband, William Bryan Culpeper, Sr; son Gregory Lee Culpeper and daughter Susan Lorraine Reed.

Mrs. Culpeper retired from the Sara Lee Corporation and was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Billy (Terri) Culpeper, Rush, CO; Patricia Sturgeon, Darlington, SC; Barbara Wilson, Florence, SC; and Lori Culpeper, Columbia, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amy (Mark) Driggers; Joseph (Wendy) Culpeper; Richard Culpeper, Anthony (Ashley) Culpeper; McIver (Karla) Sturgeon; Tanisha (Kevin) Bennett; Dale (Amanda) Sturgeon; Danny (Sara) Warren; Jennifer Ann Culpeper; Leslee Culpeper; Tra Lynn Culpeper and Eric Wilson; Several great grand-children and one great-great grandson. She is also survived by a brother, Richard (Johnnie) Kelly of Darlington; and a sister Grace (Tommy) Webb of Morehead City, NC; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Community Free Will Baptist Church, Florence, SC.

 A funeral service will be held Friday, March 31 at Belk Funeral Home at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow the service in Florence Memorial Gardens.
