Obituary
Marion “Eddie” Edward Knotts also known as “Dynamite”, age 69, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home in Lamar from 2:00pm until 3:00pm, with a funeral service following in the chapel at 3:00pm. Burial will follow in Lamar Cemetery.
Eddie was born in Darlington, SC on October 7, 1953 to the late Sidney and Annie Mae Grady Knotts. Eddie retired from Santee Print Works as a Mechanic after working with them for many years. He enjoyed watching racing and football, and in his free time he loved to go fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Jackie C. Knotts, daughter, Crystal Knotts Hyman (Larry), step-children, Kyle Sauls, and Brittany Bullock, grandchildren, Michael Jones, Jr., Katelyn Huneycutt (Lee), and step-grandchildren, Desirae Bullock and Gavin Bullock.
In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his brothers, Delbert and Robert Knotts.
