Lillian Tedder Obituary
Lillian Oliver Tedder, age 100, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, October 10, 2018. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13th at Sardis Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall, directed by Belk Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tedder was born in Florence County December 11, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Henry V. and Cleo Morrell Oliver. She was married to the late Rev. Howard Tedder. Mrs. Tedder was a homemaker and known for her delicious meals which she lovingly provided for the community. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Roger (Barbara) Tedder of Orange Park, Florida, Sandra T. Lee of Cassatt, Susan T. Ritter of Monks Corner, Greg H. (Renee) Tedder also of Monks Corner; her grandchildren, Danielle (Lee) Connelly, Rachel Wright, Dale (Suzanne) Tedder, Nancy (Sean) Smith, Mary (Rich) Abbott, Allen (Rhonda) Ritter, Claire (Scott) Cox, Larsen Tedder, and Camren Tedder; a number of great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph "Jody" (Janet) Oliver of Florence; sisters-in-law, Polly Howle, Jo Spears, and Joy Tedder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Kay T. Wright; a grandson, Teddy Lee; and a granddaughter, Megan Ritter.
