Obituary
Lewis Charles Owens, Jr., passed away at his residence in Hartsville, SC.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Lewis C. Owens, Sr. and the late Ruth S. Owens.
He was a graduate of Cherokee High School, skilled in housing maintenance repair having worked at several apartment complexes in his career. He enjoyed nature and hiking, plant and flower identification, scary movies and comic books.
He held a strong belief in the Holy Trinity and was well-versed in the Old and New Testaments.
Surviving are sisters, Kelly (David) Berry, Ann (Ed) Huffstetler, Rhonda Carelock and Gwen (Dave) Cooper. Surviving is a brother, Reggie (Jenny) Sparks. Also, there are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery with the family holding a private service to honor him.
