Lenara Boseman Wallace

Lenara Boseman Wallace, age 78, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Belk Funeral Home and other times at her daughter's home, 119 Wallace Park Lane Darlington, SC. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00pm in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with a burial following in Black Creek Cemetery.

Lenara was born in Darlington County on February 2, 1945 to the late Willie and Arie O’Neal Boseman. She worked for Nytronics then later worked for Perfection Gear. Mrs. Wallace enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves, which were her favorite.

She is survived by her daughter, Frankie (Lonnie, Jr.) Garris, granddaughter, Sabrina Dees, great-granddaughter, Bristol Locklear, her special children: Lynda Dove, Katelyn Odom and Little Joe Odom. She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Turbeville.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Wallace, and siblings, Eunice Beasley, Dot Odom and Horace “Blue” Boseman.
