Kip Moody

Christopher “Kip” Moody, age 48, died peacefully at his home on September 27, 2021. A celebration of  his life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 30, 2021. The service will take place at the pond on the family farm, officiated by Pastor Darryl George of Mechanicsville Baptist Church.

Born in Florence, SC on August 27, 1973, he was the son of Sydney Sherrill Bollinger and the late Terry Wayne Moody. He had worked a respiratory therapist before his illness. Kip was a gamer, and always enjoyed playing games on the computer with his friends. Once you became friends with Kip, he was a dedicated friend for life.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his sister, Courtney M. (Kelly) Lloyd of KY, Sean Parnell Moody of Darlington, nieces and nephews; Roy (Donna) Lloyd, Sarahann Lloyd and Cameron Moody.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Bill Bollinger, and  “Papa”,( W.A. “Sonny “Sherrill), “Honey” (Ann Sherrill) and “Granny” (Sarah Daley).
