Joanne Carnes Elliotte

Joanne Carnes Elliotte, age 86 died Tuesday, January 18, 2022. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22nd in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior. A private burial will take place prior to the visitation.
Born April 19, 1935, Joanne was the daughter of the late Raymond E. Carnes and Ruth Morrison Carnes. She worked as a secretary for the Department of Agriculture at Clemson Extension in Darlington. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir and was in the Willing Worker Sunday school class.
Surviving are her son, David (Greta) Elliotte of Hartsville; two daughters, Tonia P. Waddell of Darlington and Debra P. (Alan) Reed of Darlington; grandson, Justin (Danna) Reed; great-granddaughter, Reagan Reed; and a brother, Ray Carnes of Jacksonville, FL.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmie Carnes; and a son-in-law, Don Waddell.
