Jeffrey “Jeff” Adam Sturgis, 53, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at McLeod Hospital.

Jeff was born February 5, 1970, in Lake Worth, Florida, the son of Mary Ann Coleman and the late John Sturgis. He graduated from St. John’s High School in 1988 and joined the US Marine Corps retiring as GySgt with 20 years of service in 2008. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, reading, watching college football and was an avid gun collector. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his friends and touched the lives of so many people. Above all he cherished his family, especially his beloved children. He was always there for them through their ups and downs and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.

Jeff is survived by Stephanie Stankus Sturgis, son Joshua Adam Sturgis, daughter Victoria Elisabeth Sturgis, Mother Mary Ann Coleman and his sister Jennifer Sturgis of Columbia, SC.

Per Jeff’s request there will be no services held.
