Eudell "Monkie" (Pye) Griggs

Eudell “Monkie” Eunice Pye Griggs, age 63 died Saturday, September 11, 2021. A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.

Born on January 12, 1958, Eudell was the daughter of the late George Pye and Eunice Boseman P. Beasley. She worked for Nytronics, and later worked for different restaurants as a waitress. She enjoyed music, dancing, fishing, going to the beach and being out in the sun.

Surviving are her daughter, Dana (Joe) Williamson of Florence; grandchildren, Avery Williamson and Alayna Williamson; and her boyfriend, Randall Watkins.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mickie Pye Strickland and Sandra Gainey.
