David Colby Redick

David Colby Redick, age 36, died Monday July 3, 2023. His family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 on Saturday, July 8th at First Church of God Darlington, with a funeral service following at 3:00pm. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home.

Born in Florence County on March 23, 1987, he is the son of David M. and Cindy A. Redick. David Colby loved drag racing, working on cars and fishing. His most well-known talent and gift was his ability to make you laugh. He will be missed by all that knew him.  He was a member of First Church of God, Darlington.

He is survived by his parents of Darlington, David and Cindy Redick, sisters and brothers-in-law: Jessica and Eric Blackburn and Jenna and Dennis Morgan . Also surviving are his nieces and nephews whom he adored and enjoyed spending time with, Walker and River Blackburn and Reese and Ryder Morgan; maternal grandparents; Kay and Clifton Adams, and his faithful canine companion, Cali.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, David S. and Lois Redick and great grandparents, Spurgie and Mildred Jackson.
