Dale Austin Windham

Dale Austin Windham, age 86, passed away Monday, June 01, 2020. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3rd at Grove Hill Cemetery. Anyone who would like to pay their respects to Dale and sign the guestbook may do so Tuesday between 1-5 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home. Dale’s family understands that during these times, friends may not be able to attend or visit, and they appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Born June 29, 1933, Dale was the son of the late Fred Leroy Windham and Nannie Rogers Windham. He retired from Millwright, and previously worked for Fluor-Daniels, and DuPont. Dale enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Barbara Byrd Windham; children, Tammy (Danny) DuBose and Windy Jeffrey (Anna Maroccia) Windham; grandchildren, Lindsay (Will) Milward, Elizabeth (John Scott) McGill, and Coby (Erika) DuBose; five great-grandchildren, Jack McGill, Daniel Milward, Austin Milward, Liza McGill, and Paine Milward.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brothers, Darold Windham, Dean Windham, and Danny Windham.
