Dale Stephen Andrews, Sr.

Dale Stephen Andrews, Sr., age 73 died Tuesday, May 10, 2022. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14th at Black Creek Baptist Church with burial following at Black Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Belk Funeral Home.

Born on October 3, 1948, Dale was the son of the late Morris H. Andrews and Mary Calivas Andrews. He served in the Army National Guard in Hartsville for six years, and then worked as a contractor and owner of Steel Buildings of Darlington. Dale was a talented musician who loved his family and helping people in the community. He attended Black Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Iris Page Andrews; two children, Stephen (Michelle) Andrews, Jr. and Stevette (Rick) Young; grandchildren, Bryan Andrews, Bo, Gavin and Roddy Young; siblings, David (Debra) Andrews of Hartsville and Elaine Via of California.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Morris H. Andrews and Frank S. Andrews.
