Ronald Wayne Odom, Jr., also known as “Buddy or Budreaux”, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be announced soon.
Buddy was born in Darlington, son of the late Ronald Wayne Odom Sr. and the late Sheila Ann Carroway Odom. Buddy was a “jack of all trades”, excelling in painting and carpentry work. He was also a certified AC/HVAC technician. Mr. Odom will be missed by all his family and friends, whom he enjoyed hanging out with. He also liked to hunt, fish and was an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his daughters, Brittany (Everett Dillard) Lewis, Amanda (Ben) Calcutt, his son, Matthew (Amber) Odom, grandchildren: Ayden James Odom, Everly Dale Odom, Elizabeth Renee Todd, Hunter Allen Calcutt and Adalynn Jade Calcutt; and his sisters, Linda (Dustin) Gagnon and Barbara (Scotty) Andrews, also special friends who were like brothers to him, Bobby Kennedy and Randy Hopkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Amy Odom Davis, grandson, Remington Cash Lewis.
The family will be at the home of his sister, Barbara, 604 Red Cedar St.
The family will be holding "A Celebration of Life" in honor of Buddy Saturday, August 26th at 4pm at his sister Barbara Andrews home.
