Brooks McKay Obituary
Darlington - Brooks Alexander McKay, age 28, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 from injuries due to an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29 in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in St. John Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Hannah, SC. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born August 24, 1989, Brooks is the son of Johnny A. McKay and Dawna Stone Lewis. He attended culinary school and worked at Percy & Willies.
Surviving are his parents, Johnnie (Amy) McKay of Darlington and Dawna Stone (Isaac) Lewis of Aiken; brothers, Jake McKay, Caden McKay, Daniel Lewis, Christian Lewis; and his grandmother, Mirella McKay.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnnie McKay, Olin and Betty Stone, and his girlfriend, Sgatana, who also died from the accident.
