Betty (Waddell) Rogers

Betty Waddell Rogers, age 69, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 on Thursday, August3 at Belk Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at the LDS cemetery in Society Hill.

Born in Hartsville, Betty is the daughter of the late Lonnie P. Waddell, Jr and the late Sarah Douglas Waddell Ward. Mrs. Rogers worked as an insurance agent for many years. She was known to be an animal lover, and will be missed by her canine companion Izzy. Betty always enjoyed sitting down and coloring with her daughter Jessica, and tending to her flowers in the yard. She was of the Mormon faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Andrews (Randy Lafy), her grandchildren, Brooke Andrews, Jeremy Andrews, Justin Skipper and Mackenzie Skipper, siblings, Faye(Allan) Streett of Santee, Deborah (Larry) Rayfield of Chesterfield, Evelyn Harding of Clio, MI,  many nieces and nephews and a special friend, David Barber.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Andrews, her sister, Janice W. Karam and brother Wayne Waddell.
