Angela Christine Watts, 57 years old, ran to heaven on Saturday July 22nd 2023 to finally see her parents and grandchildren gone before her. Angela was born May 22nd, 1966 in Florence SC, to the late Robert Marion Watts and Linda K. Weidner. Angie was a fighter from the start. The life she was given was not an easy one, yet she always found a way to prevail and always knew her children would help in any way they could. She was the loudest in any room, spunky, outspoken, fun, non-judgmental, and wanted to try anything once BUT if she loved it, she would do it again. Mama not once held back anything she was thinking. Anyone who met her knew just how she felt. She would give anyone the shirt off her back and had a heart of gold. When she was able to work, she always worked hard to earn her way in life. Mom was a people person and never met a stranger. Mom loved her jewelry, clothes, shoes, pens, Diet Dr Pepper, and ICE. Angela spent her days at home, watching her grandkids, or going on outings with her children. Anytime a field trip came up, program, ball game, or an outing, she would attend. Her nights with her grandchildren were spent cuddling up to her Emmy Lou and Coletyn wanting to sleep in the floor of the room just to be near her. Mack and Zoey were always picking on her and they will greatly miss taking the funny videos of her.
Our mom and Dranmaw will be missed dearly. She is survived by her sister Melissa Watts of the home, daughters, Heather (Richard) Plyler, Brandi Jones (Jereld Poole), Morgan Huff, and her favorite boy Robert Jackson Huff, grandchildren Mackenzleigh Floyd, Coletyn Floyd, Emersyn Floyd, four bonus grandchildren, Ava, Levi, Aspen, Oakley Plyler, and a special bonus grandchild, Zoey Hanna. She was over the moon about her new grandchild on the way! She was preceded in death by both parents, both sets of grandparents, her granddaughter Aleigha Oquendo and grandson Cayden Oquendo.
A memorial service will be held at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington, SC on Tuesday, August 8th 2023 from 5pm-6pm. Anyone who knew Angela is welcome to come and just share stories with her family.
