William Edward Segars, Sr.

William Edward "Buzz" Segars, Sr. age 64, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 17th in Belk Funeral Home Lamar from the times of 2:00pm until 3:00pm. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 3:15pm in Lamar Cemetery.

Buzz was born on April 10, 1959 in Florence, son of the late Carlton Hubert Segars, Sr. and Elynor Swanson Segars. Buzz was the owner operator of Precision Pool Company in Lamar. He had a passion for racing and race cars.

Buzz is survived by his son, William (Miranda) Segars, Jr. of Darlington; two grandchildren, Colton Reid and Emersyn Grace Segars, siblings, Michaela S. (Buddy) Bishop of Columbia, Carlton Hubert (Chris) Segars, Jr. of Columbia and Steven Mark Segars of Charlotte. He is also survived by a special friend, Kenny Stratton, and his canine companion, Izzie.
