William "Bill" Robert Dunbar

William "Bill" Robert Dunbar, age 77 died at home on Saturday, January 15, 2022. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18th at Midway Baptist Church, 4777 Hoffmeyer Rd. Darlington, SC with burial following at the church cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Pastor Jamie Weatherford will officiate.

Born in Concord, New Hampshire on November 1, 1944, Bill was the son of the late William Dunbar and Ada Latouche Dunbar. He worked as a quality control supervisor for Graphic Packaging, retiring after 36 years with the company. He was intrigued by trains and was an avid golfer and New England Patriots fan, a history buff, and enjoyed traveling. Bill was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Baynard Dunbar; children, DanaJean (James) Pettus of Rock Hill, Donna Pryor of Pennsylvania; step-daughter, Tina Story of Florence; two grandchildren, Amber (Brian) and Harley; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Kamden, Madan and Ashten; and a brother, Robert Dunbar of Maine.
