William Crayton Lowder, Jr.

William "WC" Crayton Lowder of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away December 25, 2024. He was 85 years old. Known as "Bill" to his friends, was born to William Crayton Lowder, Sr. and Annie Mae Tedder Lowder December 28, 1938 in Rock Hill, SC. He attended High School in Darlington, SC where he was a star lefty baseball pitcher and pitched the team's first "no hitter". He was an avid fisherman his entire life. Survivors include sons Michael (Melissa), Terry (Kendra) and Chris Lowder, grandchildren, Adrian and Cassie Barnwell, Daniel and Olivia Lowder, Rachel (Jacob) and Will Lowder and great grandchild, Ezra Spencer.

Mr. Lowder's ashes were interred at Swift Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
