Wayne "Chop-Chop" Anderson

Wayne E. "Chop Chop" Anderson, age 81, died Friday July 1, 2022 in a Florence hospital following a illness. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00  Thursday afternoon at Belk Funeral Home with a service following at 4:00 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Swift Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born in Darlington County son of the late Sammie and Margarette Craft Anderson. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was employed with Sonoco Paper Products in shipping department for 37 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.

Surviving are two sons, Andy Anderson of GA, Joey and his wife Tammy Anderson of Darlington, granddaughter Hillary and her husband Brian Wallace and their children Lylah Grace, Rivers, and Wells, grandson Garrett Anderson, step-grandson, Curtis and his wife Danielle Culpepper: and their children Richie,Serra,and Hilary, step-granddaughter Nikki and her husband Kevin Tedder and their children Zack, Molly, and McKenzie, sister Sandra Munn of Florence, and sister-in-law, Mary Della Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by a daughter Angie A. Kirven and a brother Bennie Anderson.
