Walton Edgar Stone

Walton Edgar Stone, age 69, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019. A Graveside service will be held at Florence National Cemetery at 1:00 on Tuesday, July 9, directed by Belk Funeral Home.

Born in Florence, he was the son of the late Warwick and Mildred Bair Stone. Mr. Stone served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He then went on to drive trucks for a living. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Watkins Stone, step-daughter, Shannon Brown, siblings:  William Lamar (Judean) Stone Linda S. (David) Baker, Mary Stone, and David Earl (Susie) Stone;  and a special aunt, Louise B. Stone.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Warwick Stone.
