Virginia Eastman

Virginia Ann Lee Eastman, age 50 passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, July 10th at Freedom Baptist Church in Darlington directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at 135 Jewel Dr. in Darlington. Born June 19, 1966, in Hagerstown, Maryland; Virginia is the daughter of Mary Helen Sellers Lee, and the late Russell Eugene Driggers. She worked as a nurse's aide and in textile factories. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Darlington. Surviving are her husband, Michael Robert Eastman; her son, Owen Peyton Witt of Tennessee; her mother, Mary Helen Sellers Lee and her step-father, Everette Lee, Jr of North Carolina; her aunts, Ruth MacArthur of Darlington and Dianne Floyd of Bennettsville; her mother-in-law, Mary (Frank) Eastman of Darlington; her brother-in-law, Jesse Eastman; her sister-in-law, Shelene (Ronnie) Smith of Darlington, along with several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Eastman family c/o Belk Funeral Home, PO Box 523 Darlington, SC 29540 to help with the funeral expenses. Flowers may be sent to Belk Funeral Home, 229 W. Broad St. Darlington.
