Vernon H. Rogers

Vernon H. Rogers, age 63, died Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the McLeod Hospice House. An outdoor Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 Thursday, March 26th at his home, 707 Rio Drive, The family will receive friends after the service. Born in Bitburg, Germany on November 4, 1956, he was the son of the late Vernon and Ingrid Kolpanski Rogers. Vernon worked as a market manager at IGA. He loved his family very much and always enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. An avid motorcyclist, he always enjoyed riding his Harley and also liked to fish. He is survived by his wife, Georgeanna Kirby Rogers, four  children: Spring Rogers (Chris DeWitt), Brad Rogers, Daniel Rogers(Keaon Williams), Blake Kirby (Brooke Broach) ; grandchildren, Tyler Rogers, Caleb DeWitt, Nicholas Rogers, Tanner Rogers and Jayden Kirby, his brothers, Michael (Kimberly) Rogers, Scott Rogers, and Eric (Dee) Reed, and his special mother-in-law, Daphne Dickerson.
