Toby Ellis Lee, Jr.

Toby "Tye" Ellis Lee, Jr., age 48, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 16 in Belk Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and other times at his father's home 2234 Inverness Dr Florence, SC 29505. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, January 17 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery.

Toby was born on November 17, 1974 in Darlington, SC. He is the son of Toby Ellis Lee, Sr., and Starlette "Star" Argo. Toby worked as a waiter and bar tender in the food service industry at various restaurants locally and at the beach, with most recently working at the Outback and Olive Garden in Florence as a bar tender. Toby was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a connoisseur of beers and chicken wings who enjoyed video games, golfing, and hanging out with his friends.

Toby is survived by his father, Toby (Debbie) Lee, Sr. of Florence, mother, Starlette "Star" Argo of Florence, sisters, Tobin Lee of Florence and Amy (Dan) Zeznanski of Chicago, nieces, Mackenzie and Emily Lee, he is also survived by many other extended family members.
