Timothy Laurin Watford

Timothy "Timmy" Laurin Watford, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. A visitation will take place on Friday, September 29th from the times of 2:00pm until 3:00pm in Belk Funeral Home Lamar. A graveside service will take place following the visitation in Lamar Cemetery at 3:00pm.

Timmy was born in Florence County on January 30, 1968, son of Frank Laurin Watford and Marilyn "Tip" Elizabeth Tolson. Timmy worked with Turner's Auto Glass as a glass technician for 20 years. Timmy enjoyed the homesteading lifestyle; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising chickens, and gardening, canning and pickling what he grew. He loved being on the water and had a soft spot in his heart for all animals.

Timmy is survived by his mother and step-father, Tip (E.B) Bell; father and step-mother, Frank (Carol) Watford; his two sons, Tim Watford, Samuel Watford; granddaughter, Ava Watford which he loved to always call "Lil Baby". He is also survived by his sister, Vickie (Eddie) Joye; two step-brothers, Ryan (Heather) Bell, Kevin (Kacey) Bell; step-sister, Tonya (Raymond) Jeffords and many nieces, nephews and his cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Henry Tolson and Flossie Tolson and his Paternal Grandparents, Eugene "Pete" Watford and Myrtle Watford.
