Thomas 'Tinker' W. Howle

Darlington - Thomas "Tinker" W. Howle, Jr., age 54, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 26 from 6-8 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home, and other times at 610 Cashua St. Darlington. A private memorial service will be held on a later date. Born June 17, 1963, Tinker is the son of Thomas W. Howle, Sr. and Diana "Des" Standish Brown. He previously worked for Nucor Steel, Daniel Construction, and Southland Gun Works. Tinker loved animals and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being around people. Surviving in addition to his parents, Tommy (Sheila) Howle of Darlington and Des Brown of Mobile, Alabama are his son, Trey Howle of Florence; grandchild, Layton Howle; siblings, Helen Matthews of Mobile, Alabama, and his half-sister, Madison Howle of Darlington. Also surviving are two nieces, Erin Zirlott and Lynsey Matthews; a nephew, Lucas Matthews; and his former wife and best friend, Genny Baker.
