Thomas Barringer

Thomas "Tom" Robertson Barringer of Florence, SC passed away on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023.A graveside burial and celebration will be held Thursday, January 18th,2024 at 4:00pm at Mt. Hope in Florence, SC.

Tom was born and lived his entire life in Florence for  the exception of his honorable service in the US ARMY. Tom attended Heywood Technical College in Clyde, NC  where he earned his degree in Horticulture. He used his knowledge and love of gardening to help maintain properties throughout Florence and Darlington.

Tom was preceded in death by his father Thomas Robertson Barringer, Jr., his mother Alice Leigh Harris Barringer, and his two siblings Raymond Lee Barringer and sister Mary Brooks Barringer.

Tom is survived by his cousin Vi Barringer Harris of Darlington who adored him immensely, and his cousin James "Jammy" Harris. He is also survived by many, many cousins.

looking after Tom during his brief illness.
