Tammy (Windham) Dubose

July 2, 1958 — September 18, 2024

Darlington

Tammy (Elizabeth) Windham DuBose went to be with the Lord the morning of September 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 2, 1958, Tammy was raised in Darlington attending local schools where she was active and involved in numerous activities and sports. After graduating from St. Johns High School Tammy went on to attend Clemon University where her love for all things Clemson continued. She married the love of her life Danny in 1980, they were married over 44 years. They have three children Lindsay, Elizabeth and Coby. She loved teaching, coaching and sharing her creativity through party planning and flower arrangements. Tammy is known for her Love of God and sharing that love of God with people. She made a lasting impact on many who joined her in bible study and prayer. She will be remembered as one who encouraged and looked for the good in everyone. She loved the beach, Christmas, birthdays and most of all her family and friends. She walked in faith and showed immense courage in the last years of her life. She was a bright light sharing her sweet spirit and joy with all those around her. She was a treasure to all who knew her and will be missed dearly. Surviving are her husband, Danny DuBose, their three children Lindsay (Will) Milward of Lexington, KY, Elizabeth (John Scott) McGill of Kingstree, SC, Coby (Erika) DuBose of Houston, TX. and six beloved grandchildren Jack McGill, Daniel Milward, Austin Milward, Liza McGill, Paine Milward and Jude DuBose. Also surviving are her mother Mrs. Barbara Windham (Babob) and brother Windy Windham, both of Darlington. She was preceded in death by her father Dale Windham of Darlington. Visitation will held on Saturday September 21, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington. A celebration of life will take place Sunday September 22, 2024 3 pm at First Baptist Church in Darlington. The family will receive friends at their Darlington home on Friday. A graveside service will be at a family cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Barnabas Ministries PO Box 214 Darlington, SC 29540.
