Stephanie Belford Benjamin passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Stephanie was born in Savannah, GA, on July 28, 1962, to Sherry Ginsberg Belford and the late James Maxwell Belford.
She taught school in the Florence area before becoming a realtor with Ann Dennis & Associates Inc.
Stephanie excelled in many ventures in her life, especially golf and pickleball. Her love for her family and her friends was obvious to all that knew her. Stephanie had a contagious smile regardless of her health issues. She enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest.
In addition to her mother Sherry Belford, she is survived by her husband and golf partner of 17 years, Lem Benjamin, brother, Brian Belford (Laura) of Lakeland, FL, and their children: Makayla, Matthew, and Micah Belford, brother, Jason Belford (Lindsay Huff) of Charlottesville, Virginia, and their children: Zachary and Elliot Belford and Ethan and Madison Harris; aunts, Rochelle Ginsberg Husney and Mickey Ginsberg Katz (Barry), uncle, Ron Ginsberg (Anne), step-son, George Benjamin (Kari) and their son, Lem Benjamin V, step-daughter, Amanda Hicks and her children, Madison and Austin Hicks. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Edie Sanderson and niece, Sarah Blackmon (Alex).

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, December 3rd St. Matthews Church in Darlington where she was a member.
