Stella W. Timmons

Stella Whisenhunt Timmons, age 86, died Thursday, August 8, 2019. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home at 4:00 on Sunday, August 11, with burial following at Darlington Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 on Sunday at the funeral home.

Born In Florence on August 31, 1932, she is the daughter of the late David Sawyer Whisenhunt and the late Louise Meekins Whisenhunt. She retired from AT&T as an operator.

She is survived by her children: Bobby Timmons, Randy Timmons and Dennis (Sandra) Timmons, all of Darlington, grandchildren: Chase, Houston, Dillon, Chappel, Julie, Ashley and Joey, two brothers: Tommy Whisenhunt and David Whisenhunt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Harriet Morris, Wayne Timmons, Glen Timmons, Wallie Timmons, Joan Roberts, and Kay Elvington.

She was preceded in death by her son, Les Timmons and brothers, Fred Whisenhunt, Harry Whisenhunt, and sister, Crystal (Chris) Timmons.
