Shelly Rae Sizemore, 38 of Columbus Ohio, left us on May 28, 2023. Shelly was born on October 14, 1984, in South Boston Virginia. She was raised in Buffalo Junction, Virginia and attended Averett Baptist Church. She graduated from Bluestone Highschool in 2003 and later moved to Columbus Ohio. There she welcomed her daughter, Madison Rae, with her life partner, Chris Drago. Throughout Shelly's life she worked as a waitress greeting everyone with a smile while treating them with kindness. She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Shelly was a free spirit, and she was known for her bright smile and bubbly personality. Shelly loved animals and leaves behind her dog, Simba.

Shelly is survived by her beloved daughter, Madison Rae Drago of Columbus Ohio, Mother Shelia Rae Moody of Timmonsville, South Carolina, Father Greg Sizemore and wife Sandra of Buffalo Junction, brother, Gregory Sizemore and wife Christine of Dayton Ohio, Sister, Angela Strum and husband Jason of Skipwith, Stepsister, Tara Powell of Clarksville, Stepsister Anita Middleton and husband Eric of Clarksville, Maternal Grandfather Ellison Moody and wife Judy of Timmonsville, South Carolina, Paternal Grandmother, Billie Marie Sizemore of Buffalo Junction, Step Grandfather Henry Cole of South Boston, Aunt Marsha Sizemore Masengale and husband Michael of Chesapeake Virginia, Aunt Kelly Peavey and husband Matthew of Timmonsville, South Carolina, as well as nieces Alexandra, Lillian, Paisely, Kelsey, Khloe, Aiyana, Keely and Caroline, Nephews Eric, Justin, Skyler, Cameron and Dylan.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Clevie Cole, paternal grandfather Hillard Sizemore, uncles Ronnie Moody and David Moody.

A celebration of Shelly's life will be held Sunday June the 11th, 2023 2:00 pm at Averett Baptist Church in Nelson, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to sweetvirginiabarncats.org or your local SPCA.
