Shelia Rae Moody

Shelia Rae Moody, 60, of Lamar, South Carolina, passed away on December 9, 2025.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Belk Funeral Home in Lamar from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel, with interment immediately afterward at Lamar Memorial Cemetery.

Born on December 17, 1964, in Florence, South Carolina, Shelia was the daughter of Ellison Moody and the late Clevie Amerson Cole. She devoted her life to being a loving homemaker. She had a passion for shopping and cherished spending time with her friends and family, who were the center of her world.

Left to treasure her memory are her father, Ellison Moody; her stepmother, Judy Moody; her son, Gregory (Christine) Sizemore of Virginia; and her beloved grandchildren, Raelyn Sizemore, Paisley Sizemore, Lily Sizemore, Alex Sizemore, and Madison Drago. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Angela (Jason) Strum. Her stepsiblings: Dana (Glenn) Smith, Billy (Lori Farrow) Gerald, Kelley (Matthew) Peavy, Kim (Keith) Haselden, Jaime (Will) Brantley, her Aunt Geraldine Kirby, her nieces Christie and Leigh and nephew Ron.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Clark, mother Clevie Amerson Cole; her daughter, Shelly Sizemore; and her brothers, Ronnie Ellison Moody and David Moody.

Shelia will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
