Sara B. Vaughan

Sara B Vaughan, age 85, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017. Born August 10, 1932, Sara was the daughter of the late Richard F Blackman Sr. and the late Edna Stokes Blackman. She retired from BellSouth after 40 years of service. Surviving are her nephews, Patrick (Teresa) Blackman of Florence, and Ken (Lee) Blackman of Simpsonville. She was preceded in death by her husband Odell Vaughan and one brother Richard F Blackman Jr. The family would like to thank Oakhaven Nursing Home of Darlington and all of the staff for the wonderful loving care, which they provided for her. Memorials may be made to church or charity of one's choice. A private service will be held by the family.
