Sandra 'Sandy' Kay Davis Miller, age 72, died Friday, March 31, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Florence National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Born March 2, 1945 in Alexandria, VA, she is the daughter of the late Harry Cleveland Davis, Jr. and the late Katherine Tillis Davis. Mrs. Miller worked as a receptionist in the medical profession until her retirement. She enjoyed being at home and tending to her home and keeping up her yards. Sandra enjoyed shopping on eBay, and was a collector of different types of dolls. She and her husband Jim are active members of the Moose Lodge in Darlington, with Sandra being a member of Women of the Moose. She is survived by her husband, James 'Jim' Miller, three children: Keli R. (Tony Noll) Miller of Mechanicsville, MD, James Kevin (Tracy) Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC, Richard Kyle Miller and his fiancé, Sharon of Waldorf, MD; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Linda (Frankie) Coombs of White Plains, MD. Following the service at the Florence National Cemetery, everyone is invited to a reception at the Moose Lodge in Darlington. Memorials may be made to Moose Charities, 155 S International Drive Mooseheart, IL 60539.
