Sandra Marie (Hatchell) Tice

Sandra Hatchell Tice, age 65, passed away at her residence surrounded by family on Saturday, December 23, 2023. A visitation will take place in Welsh Neck Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 26th from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. A funeral service will take place at 2:00pm, with burial immediately following the service in the church cemetery.

Sandra was born on November 3, 1958, in Darlington, she is the daughter of the late J. E. Hatchell and Mary Johnson Hatchell. Sandra graduated from Hartsville High School and went on to work at Dixie Cup in Darlington for many years. She loved to go shopping and always enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. Sandra loved a good yard sale; she would always stop and see what she could find at the sales she would come across.

Surviving Sandra is her husband, Larry E. Tice of Society Hill, her children, Latangela Jacobs of Hartsville, Daniel (Karen) Crowley of Society Hill, step-children, Lori Lee (James) Caulder, Rachael (J.R.) Chapman, and Ben (Katy Lyn) Tice all of Society Hill. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, who she loved dearly but she had a special love for one, Kristopher Crowley, her sisters: Loretta (Louie) Northcutt of Hartsville, Rita (Randy) Lutz of Greer, Marsha (Buddy) Fryar of Hartsville, Deloise (Mike) Spease of Society Hill, Dianna Collins of Hartsville, and LaDonna (Doug) Oliver of Hartsville.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother, Elvis Hatchell, son-in-law, Charles Thomas Jacob, and her brother-in-law, Harold Collins.
