Ruth Ann (Plummer) Miller

Ruth Ann Plummer Miller, age 67, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Ruth was born in Florence on January 12, 1957, daughter of Harriett Ann Godbold Witt and the late Thomas Plummer. Ruth worked at the Wal-Mart in Florence. She was a very crafty and artistic woman; she loved to crochet and do Diamond Dotts (painting by numbers). Ruth was an animal lover, especially when it came to her dogs that she loved dearly. Above all was her loving husband of 47 years David Miller, who she cherished every moment they had together.

Ruth is survived by her husband, John David Miller, children, Robert "Bobby" Miller, Angel Lynn Lambeth, Kenneth "Kenny" William (Heather) Miller, Samantha "Sam" (Angelie) Miller, and her step-son, Johnny Miller, III, and seven grandchildren and two nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Roy Witt, Jr.

Ruth is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Plummer, and step-father, Roy Witt, Sr. who was alongside Mrs. Harriett to help raise Ruth.
