Russell "Rusty" W. Langley, of Darlington, passed away on Saturday, February 4th, 2025, at the age of 67.
Rusty was born on December 17, 1957, in Darlington, South Carolina, to the late Charles Richard "Spanky" Langley and Joyce Clemons Langley Odom. A dedicated worker, Rusty spent much of his life at Dixie Cup, where he worked on production and eventually retired from.
He was a man of many interests, with a passion for weightlifting, fishing at Santee, and enjoying the thrill of Nascar Racing. Rusty also spent time selling peanuts, a hobby that brought him joy and allowed him to connect with others in the community.
He is survived by his son, Charles Walker (Nora) Langley of Conway; stepson, Ashley (Jill) Hardee; his brother, Charles Richard (Rachel) Langley, Jr.; his nephew, Scott Smith; former wife, Darlene Hardee, former mother-in-law, Jane Johnson; and his loyal and beloved dog, Gavin.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel in Darlington, SC.
Rusty will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the many lives he touched.
