Royce Blackmon

.Royce Lane Blackmon, 21, passed away Saturday August 30, 2025 in Darlington, SC.

Royce was born in Florence, SC the son of Roy Allen and Margaret "Maggie" Langley Blackmon. He was loved dearly by everyone who knew him and never met a stranger. Royce was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends at DDT and Woodstone Hunting Clubs and everywhere that he could. In addition, he was a very loyal and passionate fan of the Clemson Tigers. Royce was employed by Domtar in Bennettsville.

In addition to his parents of Darlington, Royce is survived by his brother, Rivers Langley Blackmon of the home, his Nannie and Bac-Bac, Judy and Rodney Langley of Darlington, his aunt and uncle, Laura and Jason Smith also of Darlington, his cousins, Gracie and Langley Smith, and last but certainly not least, his beloved Boykin Spaniel, Dixie.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, September 5, 2025 in the Chapel of Belk Funeral Home in Darlington. A private burial will follow the funeral after which the family will greet friends at the home of Judy and Rodney Langley, 118 Oakview Drive, Darlington. The family will also greet friends there during the week.
