Rose Walters Moore, age 55, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 8th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Born May 19, 1961, Rose is the daughter of the Heyward Walters and the late Betty Teal Walters. She worked for the Charlotte Observer, and also enjoyed working with the public. Rose loved to spend time with her family and friends. In addition to her father, she is survived by her children, Chris Walters, Jamie Jones, Derrick Moore, and Tamara Moore; five grandchildren; her siblings, Tammy Walters, Mitchell Walters, and David Walters.
