Ronald "Chip" Dunn, Jr.

Ronald "Chip" Dean Dunn, Jr., 47, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Arrangements are pending at this time.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 24, 1977, Chip was the beloved son of the late Ronald Dean Dunn, Sr. and Sandra Gayle Dunn. He was a skilled HVAC and refrigeration technician who took pride in his work and helping others stay comfortable in their homes and businesses.

Chip was happiest outdoors—whether casting a line at the beach or spending a relaxing day on the golf course. His warm spirit, sense of humor, and love for his family will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his cherished daughters, Emma and Aliyvia Dunn of Darlington; his sister Shannon Godwin and her husband Jim; and his nephew Peyton Godwin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother, Michael Todd Dunn.
