Roland Bernard Gray

Roland Bernard "Butch" Gray, age 80, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Mr. Gray was born in Prince George's County, Maryland, son of the late Horace and Gertrude Howard Gray. Butch had retired from the grocery business in Maryland and then moved to South Carolina. He enjoyed spending time with his children, always showing and teaching them different things.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shelby Jean Perry Gray of Lamar, their children: Goldie (John) Spendolini, Donna (David) Pilar, Rose (Daniel) Lewis, Shelby (Richard) Montgomery and Dale (KC) Gray, ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and his feline friend, "Butter".

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Milton Gray, Donald Gray and Rita Ortman.
