Robert Manly Watford, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Robert Manly Watford Jr., affectionately known as "Bert" or "Robbie", who passed away on August 8, 2025. Born on October 6, 1963, in Washington, DC, he was the son of Robert Manly Watford Sr. and the late Patricia "Pat" Watford. Robert graduated from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and earned a living as a pharmacist. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed all Gamecock sports.

He leaves behind his father, Robert Watford; uncle, Don (Betty) Watford; niece, Crystal Skidmore; aunt, Rachel Watford, and his girlfriend, Allison Hoffman, his many cousins, nieces, and nephews. His family will always remember him for his kindness and his great sense of humor

Visitation will be held at Belk Funeral Home Lamar Chapel on August 12, 2025, at 11:00 am, where friends and family can gather to celebrate Robert's life. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Lamar Cemetery at 12:00 pm.

Robert's light and laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew him. As we come together to remember him, let's celebrate the joy he brought into our lives.

Robert was preceded in death by his mom, Patricia Watford, uncle, Ben Watford, and brothers Wayne Skidmore and Steve Skidmore.
