Robert M. Quick

Robert Montgomery Quick passed away June 10, 2016 at home in Castle Hayne, NC. He was born January 24, 1936 in Darlington, son of the late Frank Luther Quick and the late Pearl Gilmore Quick. He was an engineer by profession and a past President of the Lions Club International in Laurinburg, NC. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Quick of Erlanger, KY, his son, Raymond Quick of Charlotte, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, Allen, Fred, J.W., Roger and Frank, and sisters, Beulah King, Irene Freeman and Doris Odom. A graveside service will be held in Mechanicsville Baptist Church Cemetery, Darlington, SC, at 4:00 on Saturday, June 18, officiated by Rev. Frankie Tanner. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:30 on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington, SC and other times at the home of Wes and Lynn Quick, 136 Whitman Ave., Castle Hayne, NC 28429. The family wishes to thank Dr. McLeod of NHRMC Physician Group, NHRMC 3rd Floor nurses and the staff of Lower Cape Fear Hospice for their care and dignity given to Robert during his illness.
