Robert Charles Atkinson

Robert 'Robbie' C. Atkinson, Jr., age 48, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2016. Funeral service will be held 3:00pm Saturday, February 6th at Flat Creek Pentecostal Church, with burial following at Atkinson Family Cemetery directed by Belk Funeral Home. Born October 24, 1967, Robbie is the son of Shirley Watford and the late Robert C. Atkinson, Sr. He worked in the logging industry and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robbie was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his mother, Shirley Watford Atkinson are his wife, Linda Atkinson; his son, Jacob F. Atkinson; his daughter, Hayli M. Atkinson; his grandchildren, Ryleigh J. Hodges, Brayleigh A. Hodges, Teresa A. (Buck) Sanders, Melissa A. Baird, Tonya A. (Gene) Ham, Shane M. (Tonya) Atkinson, and Shasta L. (Lee Grant) Atkinson, all of Darlington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flat Creek Pentecostal Church.
